Runway 34 marks Ajay Devgn’s return to the director’s chair after Shivaay in 2016. The film comes with the tagline, “The truth is hidden 35,000 feet above the ground.” In the trailer, we see Ajay and Rakul’s characters as pilots who are caught in a difficult situation about landing a flight in extremely bad weather. Due to lack of visibility, this potentially endangered the lives of passengers. An investigation into the matter is then led by Amitabh Bachchan’s character. What’s the truth and how is the case resolved? Well, Runway 34 surely seems like an edge-of-the-seat thriller.

ABOUT RUNWAY 34

Runway 34 is a drama thriller based on the real incident that took place on the 2015 Jet Airways Doha-Kochi flight. It narrowly escaped disaster after facing difficulties due to poor visibility. The movie’s cast also features Carry Minati. Runway 34 is produced by Ajay Devgn Ffilms in collaboration with Kumar Mangat Pathak, Vikrant Sharma, Sandeep Harish Kewlani, Tarlok Singh Jethi, Hasnain Husaini and Jay Kanujia.

However, the makers have now announced that Prithviraj will release on June 3, a week before its earlier scheduled opening. In the film, Akshay Kumar brilliantly portrays the role of King Prithviraj Chauhan. Yash Raj Films is making it’s first historical with Prithviraj, which is based on the life and valour of the fearless and mighty Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan.

PRITHVIRAJ GETS A NEW RELEASE DATE

Prithviraj was all set to hit the theaters on June 10 earlier. However, fans won’t have to wait much as the film will release a week earlier now, that is, June 3. Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to share the new release date of Prithviraj. “Elated to announce that Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan’s grand saga is arriving sooner to the big screen on 3rd June in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu (sic),” his tweet read.
